Excellent fresh sushi served by a friendly young waiter. Could not have asked for better food

I had lunch here with my friend and the food was delicious, the price was great, the older lady (I think she was the chef, maybe also the owner?) was super nice and welcoming, but the young man who served us really looked and acted like he didn't want to be there and he did the absolute bare minimum as a server.
The older lady served as the Hostess and she was very friendly.
I ordered the Bulgogi Beef Lunch Bento ($9.74), and my friend said "I'll have the same thing as her." However, when they brought out the food, I got a Bento Box and my friend was given the larger dinner portion of Beef Bulgogi. When we pointed out that we ordered the same thing, the older lady came out and was very apologetic and said they would correct the order right away, which they did.
The beef bulgogi was soft, tender, flavourful, and lean. No disgusting gristle like at some places. It had onions and carrots, but it was mostly beef, yay! I hate it when restaurants use too much onion filler. This restaurant did not do that :)
The dumplings were delicious. They were so crispy on the outside. The dumpling skin was all blistered - I loved that! The inside had ground meat and veggies.
The salad was mostly iceberg :( but that is usual for Bento Box salads. The vinaigrette was really spicy. I liked it, but it was a bit of a surprise.
The rice was nicely cooked and the miso soup was well flavoured and not too salty.
The Bento Box is supposed to come with seaweed salad, but since I can't eat sesame seeds, they gave me kimchi instead. I don't usually like kimchi, but I decided to try it anyway. The kimchi at Lee Ga was not as pungent as at other places. I was able to eat it, but I did not convert to being a kimchi lover.
The overall portion size was good for lunch. I wasn't stuffed afterwards, but I wasn't still hungry.
The young man who served us was not overtly rude, but he shuffled around like he was forced to be there, lol. He never smiled and basically just brought us menus, took our orders, brought us water, food and then the bill. He never checked up on us. In fact I wanted my water refilled, but he wasn't around for me to ask. The restaurant was not busy. We were the only ones there for the first 30-45 minutes. By the time we left, the only other customers were 2 single diners.
Decor is simple. They do have a private-ish room at the front that can be curtained off. This room has a short table where you can sit on the floor to dine, Japanese style.
I only tried the Korean food, but they serve Japanese food as well.
Lee Ga is where The Golden Tiffin used to be. It's in a strip mall (same strip mall as Thai Flame). There is free parking.
The older lady thanked us as we were leaving, and she apologized again for the mix up and resultant wait.
I am rating this place 4 stars based on the food (quality and quantity), the price, and the hospitality we received from the older lady. I am disregarding the lack of service from the server, because I highly suspect that he is the owner's son, and while my parents never owned a business, my grandparents on both sides did, and they forced my parents to work in the business as kids. My parents hated it, so hey, I get it ;) -

First visit here. I have heard good things and was pleasantly impressed. The California roll have roe on them as they should. The cucumber is even crunchy.
I had some salmon sushimi that was well portioned very large but a little thin. This isn't a complaint just an observation as I like a firmer salmon sushimi that happens when it is thicker.
I was also given some miso soup to try it was very good
The atmosphere is good not crazy busy with servers rushing around.
They also have a beautiful patio that should be opening soon.
As I was leaving I was given a loyalty card 5 visits for a spring or egg roll, 10 for a maki roll and 15 for a main dish. -

The restaurant is clean, the unagi rice is delicious.
Waiting was too long because food was brought to our table at different times. Meal portion is below average size.
I won't recommend this restaurant to my friends.
My daughter loves the Love salmon. -

Drove 40 minutes to have lunch as they are open as indicated.
But when we get there, the place is closed. :(
Too disappointing esp. we were hungry since when we get there around 11:30am. :(
